兩位年輕人飼養了一隻小獅子，並將牠取名為 Christian。
So these two people raised this lion cub who they named Christian.

可惜的是，牠變的愈來愈大了，他們無法再照顧牠，他們決定將牠野放回大自然。
Sadly he got too big for them to take care of so they decided to release him to live as wild lion.

一年後，他們決定到非洲去看牠。
After a year they decided to travel to Africa to see him.

有些人告訴他們倆，牠是不會認得他們的。
They were specifically told that he would not remember them.

在倫敦Harrods百貨買了1隻幼獅
幼獅來源是動物園獅子所生
取名為小基（Christian）

小基一歲前都是坐在Bentley名車後座
跟著2人逛大街
過著英國上流社會寵物生活

但隨著小基日漸成長
2人知道無法再飼養他
於是1970年小基被帶到肯亞野放
與另2隻小獅一起生活

後來拍成紀錄片The Lion at World's End（又名Christian the Lion）
1年後2人赴肯亞
而小基還記得他們
而最令人驚奇的是
1974年2人再度探訪小基時
小基仍認得2人
