Motorcycle rider

Sea Ice Extent

All the people focus on the decreasing sea ice in the north pole. At the same time, there is a increasing sea ice in the south pole. It's really interesting, the global warming melts the ice in the north pole but what happens to the south pole? Some scientists said, forget about the global warming, we should pay attention to probably coming of the ice age first. Another question, why the sea level keep rising? Maybe the increasing of the south pole is smaller than the decreasing of the north pole. Whatever, we all live on the Earth, she got hurt, we all be punished.

'Grasshopper' robot sets high-jump record

Taking its inspiration from the grasshopper, a tiny two-legged robot that stores elastic energy in springs has leaped 27 times its own height, smashing the record of 17 times set by a previous robot.

The new robot's motor takes 3.5 seconds to fully recharge the springs, and its 10 mAh battery is enough to power 108 jumps.

World peace! The food, water, resource shortage may cause the world war? Hope not.

The only country I am interested in is Luxembourg. I rarely heard about it in Taiwan. Below is a little information from Wiki.

That's great, 18 Taiwan corporations are inside the list, even two of them are in top 10. Actually, I think there are two major reasons to create the good IT in Taiwan. The first, many employers in IT will give the stock to the employees so the average salary of the receivers are much higher than the average. The second, because of the first, the IT can engage many superior graduated students and they are willing to work hard and overtime. Recently the lawmakers had worked out a new law that have a big impact on the stock policy. Most engineers could get stock option from the employers instead of the stock directly. The influence is unknown now.
