Largest swimming pool in the world

The water draws from the ocean nearby, but the temperature is warmer than the seawater because of the heat from the sun. They use a computer to recycle the water in and out of the seawater.

New record named by the Guinness Book of Records.

The largest swimming pool in the world is the San Alfonso del Mar seawater pool in Algarrobo, Chile. It is 1,013 m (3,324 ft) long and has an area of 8 ha (19.77 acre), it was completed in December 2006.

總長達1,000碼(914.4公尺),面積達20英畝,水深為115英尺(35.02公尺)
昨天金氏世界紀錄將它登記為世界上最大的泳池,它位於智利。總共花費五年
的時間打造,建造經費為十億英鎊,年度維修費用二百萬英鎊。

水池的水清徹見底,這座泳池使用一部電腦來控制池水的循環,將附近的海水
抽入、排出。水溫約26度,因為太陽照射的關係,比旁邊的海水高9度。

官方表示,因為他們有海水可以抽抽抽,不怕沒水可游,而且也不會傷害到海
洋。
