Prison in Australia

Bookmark and Share
Um, the prisoners imprisoned there must be used to live in such a cozy place if they cannot fend for themselves in the society. The prison is as beautiful as a resort. Some cyberfriends said "The original white people came to Australia were criminals, they should be nice to the prisoner because they are the same kind". It's not suitable to say this, even rude. I don't know why the Australia government spent so much money in the prison.

WOW, it does look like a resort! I guess it pays to be a criminal there. Maybe I shouldn't say that...but....
I wouldn't mind living in a place like that!

Great post! :-)

Hi, skye b

Thanks for your positive comment.
You are a writer since 15!!
Sorry for my poor English, it's not my native language, I'm really eager to improve my English.

Hi Honercek,
I don't find a thing wrong with your English, so if your just learning English, your doing great!
:-)

I thought this was an excellent post, and also an interesting post.
I am amazed at the video of the prison, and how comfortable it looks to me. And, yes, they did spend quite a bit of money building all of these, as you can definitely tell. And, it does make you question, "Why did the Australia government do this?".

They built it so comfortable, who wouldn't want to be a criminal, if they didn't have another place as nice to live in. I mean what difference does it make what color your skin is, a criminal is a criminal, and why should they have such a cozy place to live in.

Prisons in the US definitely don't look like this for sure! Right here, in Phoenix, AZ, the Jail is so uncomfortable, criminals want to walk the straight and narrow path so they don't have to go back.

It is actually called to us that live here in Arizona, "Tent City", and it is all tents too, besides having a building beside it. Now of course, they are outside, and sometimes in the summer, it goes up to 114%, heat wise. Within this "Tent City" are many different races, so it doesn't matter what race you are, if you do something wrong, criminal, you are going there for sure.

As I said before, great post, Honercek, and very well written.
Thanks, Skye

Hi, Skye

It's good to know you, and get so much confidence from you to practice my English. With Internet, people all over the world can share different culture, things to each other, that's great.

I can't agree with your comments anymore, they are criminals and did mischief to the society, why does the government use the tax to enjoy them? It's not fair to the law-abiding citizens.

Best Regards,
honercek

Hi Honercek,
Yes, I do have much confidence in your English, and you are doing such a great job! English is a very difficult language to master because we have so much slain. At least that is what I am told. I wish I could speak another language but never really learned another, accept a bit of French. It is always good to be bi-lingual. I bet you know several languages.

I see in your profile, that you are going for your Masters Degree. What area are you going for? I have a degree, but not a Masters. I majored in several different areas, Health, English, and Electronics.

Well anyways, I finally got that other comment to go in, it took about 6 times before it would go in for some reason. I guess Google is having a bad day. lol!

I believe more cultures should come together, and also to learn each others ways of living.

You have a good day, Skye

Hi, Skye
Thanks for your admiration again. In Taiwan, the era when I was young, students were taught English since class 7 (we called it junior high school from class 7 to class 9 before). The English courses will at lease continue until the graduation of senior high school but it depends on what kinds of school you study.

Learning English here sometimes don't have good effect on students, we more emphasize on the grammer and examination, oral practice is fewer.

Do your mean "slang"? I really forced to recite many slangs when I was a student, but now I forgot almost all because of few use.

My major is computer science(CS) in the university, after more than 3 years working experience in the research and development of network device firmware, I have a hard time getting master degree in CS now.

It's never too late to learn something, I believe that if you try very hard, you always could get what you want, especially for learning.

I like Google, it offers us many useful features for free. I can tolerant to not many faults.

Good luck to you,
honercek

I do hope there's no VIP treatment inside that jail. All should have fair treatment, even the poorest prisoners. A sinner also deserves a second chance. They are human and they should be taken in a decent chamber.
